Here is an example of the edging used on our custom blankets This is a lovely ribbing shown in white frames the blanket on all four edges.

The eyelet heart shown here is used as the interior edging these can be done all around the edges, or one in each corner.

In the center of the baby blanket the child’s name or surname is stitched either centered across or diagonally. Shown here in yellow.

If a name is not to be used a large heart can be stitched in the center as shown at left in white.

Whatever your style choice the afghan is knit with love to welcome a new person to the world.

The afghans are meant to be used heavily. They are knit in 100% acrylic yarn. They are machine wash and dryable. They are soft to begin with and with use become even softer.
